Adecco Permanent Recruitment has partnered with a new manufacturing client to recruit and hire a Full Time Quality Engineer for their facility located in Tennessee (Cookeville area).

The Quality Engineer ensures product quality, works closely with customers and suppliers, handles internal quality problems, and drives continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with customers, report and resolve external failures.
  • Address internal quality problems and lead problem-solving efforts.
  • Perform Monthly PPM reporting and QC audits.
  • Drive continuous improvement activities like scrap and downtime reduction.
  • Develop and implement quality control processes.
  • Perform inspections and tests on products.
  • Analyze quality data and recommend corrective actions.
  • Conduct supplier evaluations and audits.
  • Provide support for warranty parts analysis.
  • Create inspection standards and resolve SQPR issues for service parts.
  • Provide daily Kaizen reporting on the plant floor.
  • Train staff on quality control procedures.
  • Maintain documentation and records.
  • Travel to various customers/supplier sites.

Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree (Bachelor's preferred) or combination of experience and education.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Automotive Manufacturing or Tier 1 OEM Experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel at least 40% of the time

Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
