Employment Information
  • Drive Continuous Improvement both in terms of shepherding projects and promoting the concepts and application of CI tools, philosophy and lean principles.
  • Align CI efforts to strategic objectives. Identify and remove obstacles.
  • Direct and assign to Black Belts to projects.
  • Manage consultant relationships. Report on project progress.
  • Oversee and deliver CI related training and create training content as may be appropriate.
  • Champion efforts to embed CI in the culture. Serve as a CI/Lean Subject Matter Expert for Wisconsin Centrifugal and other locations.
  • Help management create and refine Key Performance Indicators. Promote lean best practices across departments and divisions. Participate in Key Manager meetings, plant safety meetings and incident reviews.
  • Oversee the CI Department's participation in New Employee Orientations.
  • Hire, train, coach and develop CI Department employees. Participate in quality, product and operations meetings providing Continuous Improvement/Lean perspective and expertise.
  • Maintain current professional certifications and expertise.
  • Demonstrate core values.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business with a strong understanding of manufacturing and the application of CI/Six Sigma/Lean concepts.
  • Black Belt certification is strongly preferred.
  • Progressive experience in leading continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment is a must.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities including the development of subordinates and problem solving are required. Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office and excellent communication skills are a must.


Pay Details: $130,000.00 to $160,000.00 per year
