JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Human Resources Director (HRD)
Reports To: CEO/President
Type: Full-Time, Exempt
Location: Norcross, GA, Hybrid or Remote
Salary: salary + incentives + commission
This position is a member of the Executive Leadership Team and leads the Human Resources Department and serves as a strategic partner to the IBEX executive leadership, employees, vendors, and clients. This role is responsible for the management and execution of government contract deliverables including staffing, budget management, products/services, and providing excellent customer service. Moreover, this role ensures IBEX operates in compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
Department Operations
Manage workflow and priorities for the HR team
Enhance processes and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Provide effective and timely communication regarding HR initiatives and issues
Identify opportunities and options for training, professional development, and recognition
Develop/enhance reporting of HR activity to the executive and senior leadership team
Assist with the development of overall HR strategy and planning
Supervisory Responsibilities
Participates in the hiring and training of departmental staff
Organizes and oversees the work and schedules of departmental staff
Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive
Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy
Provide a work environment that promotes positive energy, creativity, and teamwork among associates
Manage Project Management and Human Resources staffing, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation, and performance
Communicates and explains new directives, policies, or procedures to managers; for major changes, meets with entire operations staff to explain changes, answer questions, and maintain morale
Develop strong and effective teams through coaching/mentorship
Ensure work environments are adequate and safe
Project a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community
Implement an optimal organizational structure to grow and support the business
Strive for superior customer service (on-time delivery and responsiveness)
Plan and recommend necessary resources to ensure success, including capital equipment, team members, appropriate facilities, effective infrastructure, and materials
Provide leadership to managers, experienced professional staff, and operational associates
Promote a productive work environment with high employee engagement levels
Interact with internal and external leaders, including senior management
Persuade others into agreement with sensitive situations while maintaining positive relationships across the organization
Payroll & Benefits Administration
Oversee payroll review and coordinate with HR Generalist to finalize bi-weekly payroll
processing objectives
Maintain and manage relationships with benefits brokers and vendors
Assist with benefit plan design and offer recommendations
Manage and oversee annual renewal, open enrollment, system data, and qualifying events
Oversee monthly reconciliation of benefit activity
Provide oversight of COBRA administration
Monitor and manage information related to employees on disability (i.e., STD and LTD)
Research and resolve employee benefit-related issues (e.g., medical, dental, 401(k)
Compliance
Ensure legal compliance by reviewing federal, state, and local regulatory requirements
Proactively work with internal departments, external partners, plan administrators, and outside counsel/vendors on compliance matters involving benefit plans, employment
practices, and HR reporting
Update/maintain HR policies (including the Employee Handbook)
Ensure appropriate Workers' Compensation and OSHA compliance
Monitors HR key performance indicators, identifying root causes of
workforce issues and driving improvement initiatives
Develop and implement innovative solutions to employee relations issues
Recruiting/Transfers/Terminations
Develop/refine the protocol for recruiting process (i.e., job posting, sourcing, background checks, orientation, and onboarding programs).
Ensure required documentation is obtained, approved, and maintained in HRIS.
Review offer letters and other correspondence regarding promotions, transfers, and
separations
Conduct employee orientation and exit interviews as needed
Employee Relations
Investigate and/or provide insight to management regarding whistleblower calls, EEOC-related matters, and other employee issues
Consult with Legal and/or outside counsel as needed
Strategize with managers and employees to recommend actions to address issues or negotiate/resolve conflicts
Performance Management
Partner with internal leaders to implement performance management processes and tools
Create, develop, and execute training to promote a high-performance environment that
emphasizes quality, productivity, and goal attainment
Manage the Performance Management program for the entire organization
Compensation
Process industry surveys and participate in benchmarking studies
Assist with year-end analysis for salary and bonus compensation
Projects
Provide strategic planning and/or guidance (as needed) in support of:
Company Events, Service Awards program, Lunch & Learn program, Special projects as assigned
Work Environment:
Corporate office and/or home office work environment. When working in the corporate office or home office confidentiality of company information must be maintained.

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
