Overview:

Seeking to hire an aircraft mechanic with aircraft sheet metal experience for our Aircraft Restoration position. A & P license desired but not required.

Pay:

$40 - $50 /hr

($50 would require little to no training)

Shift:

8am - 4:45; Monday - Friday

Job Description:

  • Metal forming, spot welding, and general aircraft tear-down and rebuild.
  • Will restore WWII Warbird airframe components.
  • Repairing and fabricating new parts from original parts, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
  • Will be performing true hands on assembly and fabrication work
  • Looking for candidates who have experience with multiple approaches to forming parts out of 2024.
  • Should understand the annealing process, be experienced with metal bending equipment beyond a brake and a press.
  • Journeyman level knowledge of riveting, and they should be versed in proper disassembly.
