Fast growing and expanding Home Delivery, company seeks an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager with expertise in Last Mile home deliveries, and with a strong skill set in operations, supervision, dispatch, and customer service. This position will manage overall operations and oversee all employees and contractors at our operations site. Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but not limited to the following:

  • Manages Final Mile Dock Load outs.
  • Supervises multiple deliveries and teams for seamless delivery process as established by company.
  • Supports our customer’s expectations for all delivery services.
  • Ensures safe and efficient operations.
  • Carries out supervisory duties in accordance with the company's policies.
  • Quick decision making skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Meet costs, targets in a timely manner.
  • Monitors operations such as early am load outs, and routes.
  • Recruits Independent IC's.
  • Assists the Customer Service Team in investigations and resolutions to customer or shipper complaints.
  • Serves as contact person for all workers within assigned territories.
  • Implements schedule and policy changes.
  • Collaborates with other managers and staff members to achieve goals, and objectives.
  • Must be flexible to work week-ends.

Skills + Qualifications:

  • Must have 5 years plus logistics experience in similar role, preferably with Final Mile Home Delivery Background.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, excellent verbal, written, communication skills and excellent listening skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment on multiple projects while effectively communicating in a professional manner with all levels.
  • Must possess both a strong personality and a desire to help.
  • Must have extensive experience of dispatch with a good demographic knowledge of the area.
  • Must have excellent Customer Service skills
  • Must be computer proficient and comfortable with Word, Excel, Outlook and willing to learn our software.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 per year
