Position Overview:

As the Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations related to HVAC equipment and materials. This includes inventory management, receiving, shipping, storage, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen attention to detail, and a deep understanding of warehouse processes within the HVAC industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Monitor inventory turnover and optimize stock levels to meet demand while minimizing excess inventory.

Receiving and Shipping:

  • Oversee the receiving process for incoming shipments of HVAC equipment and materials.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Manage outbound shipments to customers, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery.

Warehouse Organization:

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Develop and enforce warehouse policies and procedures to promote efficiency and safety.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and storage methods to maximize space utilization.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure that all incoming and outgoing products meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Implement quality control measures to minimize errors and defects.
  • Investigate and resolve any quality issues or customer complaints related to warehouse operations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the HVAC industry.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management best practices.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software applications.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.43 - $23.40 per hour
