A full-service company specializing in Power Transmission Systems is seeking a Supply Chain Manager. This pivotal role aims to fortify the supply chain division, focusing on Strategic Sourcing. The ideal candidate will possess profound expertise in the global metal mechanical fabrication market, with a keen understanding of European and North American markets. With flexibility for placement in Europe or the USA, the role entails spearheading strategic initiatives to optimize global supply chain operations, necessitating a blend of industry insight, strategic acumen, and operational excellence across diverse international markets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute global supply chain strategies for efficient sourcing, procurement, and logistics.
- Lead cross-functional teams to establish supply chain best practices, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with regional supply chain teams to standardize processes and enhance efficiency.
- Identify and assess potential global suppliers/vendors, negotiate contracts, and forge strategic alliances.
- Monitor market trends, industry developments, and geopolitical factors to anticipate changes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain performance and reduce costs.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and dashboards for monitoring and tracking.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
- Foster a high-performing global supply chain team by providing leadership and guidance.
- Manage Service Level Agreements with suppliers, ensuring adherence to response and delivery times.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align supply chain strategies with business objectives.
Administrative and Technical Competences:
Expertise in global supply chain concepts and processes, including procurement, sourcing, supplier management, inventory management, logistics coordination, and import/export processes.
Proficiency in supply chain management software, particularly Dynamics 365, facilitating seamless operation and optimization of supply chain activities.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, utilizing analytical capabilities to enhance decision-making processes and drive efficiency across supply chain operations.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Over 10 years of experience in progressive global supply chain management, procurement, or logistics roles.
- Comprehensive understanding of global supply chain concepts, processes, and best practices.
- Experience demonstrating strong leadership and strategic planning skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a diverse global team.
- Experience in supply chain management software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with knowledge of power transmission systems and wind turbine components.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
