Missions:
- Responsible for the implementation and follow-up of all Integrated Management & local Regulation activities in pilot line and HQ
- Responsible for the overall quality of products released
- Develop and maintain the quality organization by managing the Quality team and the load by prioritization
- Manages the relationship with the OEM’s and coordinates the activities to achieve customers’ satisfaction
- Has the authority to stop production or delivery when the products do not meet the expected quality status. He is in charge to protect the customers.
- Performing tests to verify quality of products before they are shipped to the customers.
- Manage quality reviews and quality crisis management at customer level and for internal reviews within the organization and his/her peers
- Assure problems are solved until the end and appropriate communication is done to customer with coordination of the different functions to problem resolution
- Assure lessons learned are shared worldwide within quality community and integrated in quality tools and methodology
- Ensure that methodologies are aligned with customer specifics requirement (such as Automotive SPICE, ISO26262 …)
IMS:
- Develop tools and reporting to ensure delivery of the highest quality systems
- Ensure the implementation and animation of IMS
- Manage audits plan in liaise with the Division
- Is responsible of the controlled documentation locally in partnership with the process leader
Activities:
- Outline the key areas of responsibility for this position, including all related activities under each area
- Manage a team of quality professionals, incl. budget, resources and objective setting
- Participate to the necessary meetings to report the quality status and define the priorities
- Make sure that the manufacturing and development processes meet the quality standards
- Monitor the production line and performs the periodic Quality Control checks
- Monitor the customers’ score cards, lead the necessary actions for the non-conformities and define a quality roadmap to achieve a best-in-class scoring
- Review the customer specific requirements (i.e. CSR) and make sure they are met
- Establish the site quality procedures and instructions that complies with norms, regulation in force, Plastic Omnium standards and the OEM’s quality standards, including the CSR
- Lead and report to management, the problem-solving activities for customer claims (i.e. 0-km and warranty), update the customer portal and interface with the customer until closure with clear risk assessment
- Set up and maintain controls and documentation procedures (incl. Control Plan, FMEA, etc)
- Lead and report to management problem solving activities for supplier issues with clear risk assessment
- Define and implement the yearly audit schedule for the region, including certification, customer, internal and layered process audits and also Conformity Of Production according regulation in force
- Lead continuous improvement activities (e.g. Reverse-FMEA, Layered Process Audits)
- Enforce the discipline in applying process control in place (e.g. critical parameters and process traceability) and fight any degraded mode
- Monitor the operational performance by gathering relevant data, look at ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency
- Liaise with other managers and staff throughout the organization to ensure that the quality management system is functioning properly
- Daily Safety Patrol
- Report when abnormal case on EHS Hazard and Environmental issue is found
- Monthly Top Safety Visit
Competencies Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (e.g. Mechanical, Industrial, Quality or related Automotive engineering)
- Quality experience in production environment of Automotive Industry
- Prior Management of small team
