Position Description
The Quality Engineer is responsible for supporting the overall day-to-day function, operations, processes, and procedures of the company’s quality control system under the direction of the Quality Manager. This includes maintaining the ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 registration and ensuring compliance to meet these standards. Responsible for the continuous improvement process and ensuring high quality standards of products. It is key that this person have the ability to understand customer requirements, coordinate production resources, as needed, and to effectively follow up to serve the customer’s needs.
Job Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering environment and ensuring quality standards are met. Healthcare experience is a big plus.
· Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Understanding of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and ISO 13485 standards.
· Strong business acumen and excellent leadership skills.
· Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) and other software programs.
· Experience with technical writing.
· Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
· Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work in a collaborative and team environment.
