This position which will be responsible for overseeing parts and service department operations.

The Parts and Service Director will be responsible for the reputation, efficiency, and profitability of the parts and service department. As with all positions within dealerships, this position will have a focus on improving the sales performance and CSI Scores across the board.

Job Responsibilities:

· Setting goals and objectives for the parts and service department and monitoring the departments’ performance.

· Directing the hiring and training of personnel for the service and parts departments.

· Working with department personnel to improve profitability and efficiency.

· Creating and maintaining a positive relationship with customers, ensuring that department staff is helpful, as well as making customer satisfaction a priority to ensure referral and repeat business.

· Working directly with customers and warranty clerks to administer warranty claims, as well as understanding and applying warranty guidelines.

· Creating dealership service and pricing policies.

· Ensuring that service repairs are performed efficiently and correctly by conducting spot checks on jobs.

· Understand and keep abreast of the federal, state, and local regulations that affect operations, and comply with these regulations as well as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA Right-to-Know regulations.

· Create uniformity by providing the necessary training and guidance to the service department personnel in order to ensure productivity and allow for a consistent and excellent customer experience across the dealerships.

· Assist the parts and service personnel in establishing individual sales goals and training curriculum tailored to each employee.

· Builds a winning team by recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, evaluating, motivating, and rewarding Service Department Employees

· Ensure all department personnel represent the store in a professional manor and are provided with appropriate uniforms to comply with the company dress code.

· Cross train others within the department to assume the responsibilities of the manager in the case of absence.

· Ensure each and every employee is trained to the appropriate skill level of their position for the utmost success and manufacturer certification.

Job Requirements:

· Strong leadership and organization skills.

· Strong communication skills are required to work with customers, employees and vendors.

· Ability to maintain the profitability of service department while controlling expenses and maintaining customer satisfaction

Pay: From $150,000.00 per year
