Position Summary
To maximize the sales and profits of the company and our Enhanced and Independent customers through the creation, development and negotiation of Customer Development Agreements (CDAs) and marketing programs to established company standards.
Essential Functions
- Maximizes sales and distribution of our products by working with employees and by building and maintaining relationships with retailers and national sales representatives to identify opportunities to increase the sales and profitability of the company through the development, negotiation and communication of Customer Development Agreements (CDAs) and marketing promotions.
- Analyzes, evaluates and manages our business and programs from a sales and customer perspective to increase sales and volume.
- Stays abreast of competitive environment and develops strategies to increase our competitive advantage.
- Creates and conducts business reviews with retailers and employees to identify goals, objectives and opportunities to increase sales and profitability of the company and retailers at retailer locations.
- Completes business reviews, pricing changes, CDAs and other paperwork according to established company policy.
- Trains other employees on developing sales and negotiation skills.
- Communicates with retailers and employees on issues regarding pricing, products, equipment, programs and problems that arise in the store to ensure that programs are being executed according to established company standards.
- Authorizes and sets up new items and products in retailers’ systems to maximize sales and profitability of the company and retailers at retailer location.
- Ensures that company policies, standards and procedures are met, followed and maintained in accordance with established company policy (e.g. OSHA and safety compliance, Federal/State/Local laws).
- Maintains confidentiality of financial and customer information, promotions, pricing, CDA contracts, profit and loss reports and other sensitive and confidential information.
- Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works outside of normal schedule as required to meet workload demands. Performs other related duties as required.
Education Level
Associate's Degree in sales, marketing or related field required or equivalent work experience.
Experience
3-5 years of previous beverage management experience.
Computer Skills
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Certificates & Licenses
Must have a valid Driver's license and be insurable to operate a vehicle as a condition of initial and continued employment.
