Essential Job Functions
1. Test incoming raw materials, process intermediates and finished goods.
2. Analyze using advanced techniques such as Rapid Micro Methods, Chromatography, and Spectroscopy.
3. Provide support for both microbiological and analytical labs.
4. Read, record & report results.
5. Write and review Out-of-Specification and Process Deviation Reports (PDRs).
6. Create and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the lab.
7. Miscellaneous duties: daily verifications, clean glassware, disinfect work surfaces, maintain lab cleanliness
and organization, maintain lab inventory and order supplies.
8. Follow cGMP.
9. Generate, review, and approve material results forms.
10. Test water of USP Water System.
11. Assist QA department when requested.
12. Train Assistant Lab Technicians.


Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Science with 0 – 3 years of experience in a cGMP Laboratory, or
2. Associate’s Degree with 2 – 5 years of experience in a cGMP Laboratory.
3. Experience in an FDA regulated facility, preferred.
4. Communication Skills required (verbal and written).
5. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Excel.
6. Math Skills.
7. Excellent Attendance.
8. Team Driven.
9. Self-motivated and accountable for completing work.
10. Must be organized and detail orientated.
11. Positive and willingness to help others.
