Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Warehouse Manager to join our team. The Inventory Warehouse Manager will oversee and execute all warehouse operations and inventory control methods including process improvement, production planning, logistics, and materials handling. Additionally, this role is responsible for the hiring, training, and coaching of warehouse staff.
Responsibilities:
- Receives and records new inventory as it is delivered; inspects and stores it according to policy.
- Leads monthly and YE inventory counts. Monitors inventory levels and conducts regular audits to ensure accuracy.
- Conducts physical inventory, compares it to computerized inventory, and reports any discrepancies.
- Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of warehouse practices.
- Replenishes stock and inventory as needed.
- Ensures all stock is labeled and stored in correct locations in the warehouse.
Coordinates with Quality and Production to ensure all product and documentation accompany each shipment.
Ensures all shipments are packed, marked, and shipped according to customer instruction.
Consults with Sales and Customer Service on customer requirements and schedule changes.
- Schedules and transfers materials to and from the warehouse, coordinates the transfer of inventory between departments.
-Qualifications:
- Associate degree in business and/or 5-10 year's Logistics/Inventory experience in Supply Chain management or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient with data entry and inventory software systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and materials handling techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. and perform physical tasks as required. Forklift certified.
