Job Title: Export Buyer & SDL (Supplier Development Leader)

Job Overview:
We are seeking applications from highly passionate Purchasing professionals to take up the challenging role of Export Buyer & SDL. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing purchasing activities within the export domain, with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards and cost-efficient strategies. This role requires a combination of technical expertise in purchasing management, quality assurance, and an understanding of the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities:
o Strategically manage purchasing activities across the export segment.
o Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies.
o Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness.
o Conduct market analysis to stay informed about commodity trends.
o Send RFQ , organize pre-sourcing / sourcing committees
.
- Supplier Development:
o Identify, qualify, and develop new suppliers.
o Conduct supplier audits and performance reviews.
o Implement supplier quality improvement programs.
o Facilitate training for suppliers on organizational standards and requirements.
o Lead supplier conflict resolution and risk mitigation.
o Participate in sourcing committees for supplier evaluation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
o Work closely with various internal departments (e.g., engineering, quality, finance) to align purchasing strategies with organizational goals.
o Support project teams with procurement expertise.
- Quality & Compliance:
o Ensure adherence to internal procedures and quality standards.
o Manage supplier compliance with company and industry regulations.
o Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field with a focus on Purchasing Management and/or Quality.
o 10+years of proven experience in export purchasing, preferably in the automotive industry.
o Strong negotiation skills and technical knowledge of commodities.
o Proficiency in English, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
o Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
