We are seeking a skilled Avionics Technician to join our team at our facility in Greenboro, NC. As an Avionics Technician, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and repair of avionics systems in aircraft. Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of avionics systems in accordance with established procedures and regulations
• Install, modify, and upgrade avionics equipment, including communication, navigation, and surveillance systems
• Conduct functional tests and ensure proper calibration of avionics systems
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to diagnose and resolve complex avionics issues
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including documentation of repairs, modifications, and inspections
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Stay updated on industry advancements and technological developments in avionics systems

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification
• Proven experience as an Avionics Technician or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of avionics systems, including communication, navigation, and surveillance equipment
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
• Ability to use specialized tools and equipment for avionics maintenance and repairs
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment

Salary info:

$24.90 - $34.90 / hr
