Employees shall Inspect, maintain modify troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, and test aircraft (T-38) fuel systems their assemblies, and components. Isolates the nature of trouble and extent of adjustment or repair required on refuel/cross-feed mechanisms and, pumps, pressure relief valves, fuel bladder removal, installation and leak detection/repair, and other aircraft fuels accessories. Diagnoses malfunctions and overhauls fuels accessories by disassembling, cleaning, and examining parts for corrosion, wear, scratches, cracks, or other damage, replacing gaskets and worn parts. Reassembles accessories, adjusting, and testing to ensure proper operation IAW standards in technical specifications such as technical orders, microfilm, manufactures specification manuals, part supply books, and blueprints and schematic diagrams, rigs cables and adjusts associated fuels equipment on, and other aircraft features involving fuels. Fabricates fuel, oil, and vacuum hose lines, makes modifications of aircraft fuel equipment as required by technical orders, uses standard and specialized tools and measuring devices of the trade to complete assignments.
