M1 is looking for a(n) Aircraft Logs and Records Technician
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Maintains aircraft and engine logbooks and associated records.
- Proficient performing all operator, data entry and retrieval functions associated with aircraft
recordkeeping.
- Performs networking functions between individual stations, including analysis and correction of
errors caused by software, hardware, or data entry.
- Transmits and receives data via floppy disk, modem, and other electronic means.
- Extracts data, formulates and interprets management reports, creates archives, backups, and data
saves in support of military deployments and detachment operations.
- Performs a wide range of clerical and administrative duties related to aircraft maintenance, such as
preparing reports and correspondence, filing, and typing, performing data base and systems analysis.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Thorough understanding of DOD aircraft maintenance processes preferred.
- Must have a working knowledge of computers (input/extract data).
- Must speak, read, write, and understand English.
- Obtain/maintain security clearance, DOD CAC privileges, and Special Access Badge requirements.
- Must be able to work days, nights, and weekends as required.
- Current valid U.S. Driver’s License.
- Ability to travel
- Must be willing and able to deal with the customer and company employees in a courteous and
professional manner.
- Must be able to meet any Government/Company licensing/qualification requirements for the position.
- U.S. Navy Aviation Maintenance Administration man (AZ) “A” School or three (3) years relevant
military experience
- Must be able to work flexible schedule as required.
- Able to travel in support of detachment operations as required.
- Eligible for Common Access Card (CAC)
- Desired Qualifications:
- Configuration Management for Organizational and Intermediate Activities Course(C-555-0059)
- Support Equipment Configuration Management Course (C-555-0057)
- ALSS Configuration Management Course (C-555-0056)
- Training in USN 4790 Logs and Records
- Minimum 2 year of related experience in Logs and Records for Military Aviation.
- Experience with automated maintenance record systems: NALCOMIS, OOMA, IMDS, and NAMIS -
highly desired.
- U.S. Navy or U.S. Air Force maintenance administration course graduate - preferred

- Environment ranges from office to hangar and flight line and requires extensive climbing, standing,
stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands.
