Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Inventory Control and Demand Planning Management Manager (Level K) to join the 737 Fulfillment organization and lead teams in Renton, Washington.
The successful candidate is someone who can join and lead teams, understand the strategic aspect of the organization and associated initiatives, work in a complex organization, and can leverage their knowledge of the company and multiple functional disciplines to meet supply chain management goals and our internal and external customers’ expectations. Candidates must be able to translate strategic goals into tactical actions that are understandable to the team
Position Responsibilities:
Manage and integrate employee activity in processes focusing on inventory control and demand management
Develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures and set operational goals related to inventory control
Acquire resources for projects and processes, monitor progress, and lead process improvements
Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
3+ years of experience with Material Management and Inventory Control
3+ years of experience conducting data, trend and/or forecasting analysis
3+ years of experience in a role which required strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Experience demonstrating people management skills to include coaching, teaching, mentoring
Must be able to work variable shifts; including days, evenings, nights and weekends (managers periodically rotate to other shifts)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or higher
3+ years of experience in aerospace/operations manufacturing management
3+ years of experience in Lean Manufacturing and the Boeing Production System
Relocation:
