Job Summary:

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of aircraft maintenance operations within the MRO. This role involves managing a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining the airworthiness of aircraft through efficient maintenance practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the scheduling of aircraft maintenance.
  • Serve as a point of contact for customers before, during, and after maintenance.
  • Supervise all aspects of aircraft maintenance; ensuring all work is performed safely, efficiently, with the highest quality standards and best practices.
  • Direct technicians and assign tasks that most effectively utilize their experience and skill levels.
  • Provide direct maintenance support as needed to support the MRO.
  • Coordinate with the quality dept. to ensure aircraft maintenance is performed in accordance with FAA standards and the repair station procedures.
  • Maintain an overall clean, organized, and professional maintenance facility.
  • Partner with human resources in the hiring of qualified maintenance personnel as determined by experience, training, and performance.
  • Other duties as requested.

Required Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in all levels of aircraft maintenance.
  • Demonstrated leadership, supervisory, and organizational skills.
  • Able to coordinate priorities and meet deadlines with multiple projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively and professionally in person, on the phone, and written correspondence.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Service-oriented and able to build productive professional relationships.
  • Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including OSHA, EPA, state, and federal regulations.
  • Required to talk or hear; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Occasionally lift and move up to 75 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school and Diploma as an Aircraft Technician (Preferred)
  • FAA Airframe and Power Plant Certificate
  • FAA Inspection Authorization or willing to get certified.
  • 5+ years of experience maintaining King-Air Series and Pilatus PC-12.
  • 3+ years in a supervisory role in an aircraft maintenance organization.
  • Willing to travel occasionally.
