POSITION SUMMARY
The Supply Chain Manager (SCM) is responsible for managing and improving the finished goods and raw material supply chain. The SCM will work closely with, and report to, the Operations Manager and perform other functional tasks to facilitate day-to-day operations. The SCM will also support senior leadership by becoming the subject matter expert on the performance of the supply aspects of the business, and recommending plans of action aligned with the company’s objectives and following through on approved course of action.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Manage the finished goods supply chain end-to-end from source to customer
· Manage the raw material supply chain end-to-end from source to co-man or copacker
· Perform supply chain analysis, including obtaining various data from multiple sources
· Perform a variety of other analyses reports
· Perform raw material and finished goods forecasting and demand planning
· Make purchasing recommendations
· Manage and train key team members
· Recommend courses of action based on data findings
· Recommend supply chain activities for purposes of improvement
· Develop action plans to maintain or improve key performance indices
· Prepare reportorial requirements as required of the role
· Interface with other departments as part of a team to accomplish projects
· Perform other duties as may be required
Qualifications:
· 3-5 years of working experience on an official capacity in a related field
· Ability to use technology to gather, clean, extract, and transfer data
· Ability to work with ambiguity; identify and solve complex problems
· Ability to make quantitative and qualitative data assessments
· Ability to work in a fast-paced evolving environment
· Ability to create smooth interpersonal relationships
· Ability to work independently, effectively handle multiple competing priorities, and manage deadlines under pressure
· Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into a concise message and experience interacting with senior management.
· Must pass a Microsoft Excel test
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in in a related field
· Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Applications
· Excellent command of Microsoft Excel is a REQUIRED
· SAP B1 knowledge is preferred
· SAP B1 MRP knowledge is a plus
· TrueCommerce EDI knowledge is a plus
