JOB SUMMARY:

The Supply Chain Manager coordinates, organizes, and oversees all activities involved in the identification, acquisition, and distribution of the company’s goods across three U.S. manufacturing locations; Tulsa, OK, Schertz, TX and Rosedale, MS.

Some ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain.
  • Establishes performance metrics for comparison or evaluation of factors affecting the supply chain, including the supplier KPI and dashboard.
  • Builds and develops an effective purchasing organization and team.
  • Develops and maintains detailed inventories of materials and supplies located at the plants to ensure efficient uninterrupted production.
  • Analyzes current inventories and procedures; suggests improvements to increase efficiency of supply chain and profitability for the company.
  • Develops policies to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality and safety; implements subsequent changes to processes.
  • Negotiates prices for raw material and delivery with suppliers, vendors and/or shipping companies.
  • Be familiar with and support the effort of implementing the quality policy and ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949 Quality Management Systems.

  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Thorough understanding of company products and logistics.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or related field required or equivalent experience; Master’s degree is a plus but not required.
  • Three years of experience as a supervisor, manager, or similar relevant position required.
  • Certifications such as Six Sigma, CSCP, CPSM a plus.

  • Professional office environment with some time spent in manufacturing plants
  • Regularly required to talk and hear while performing the duties of this position

  • Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand
  • 10-20% travel expected to the remote plant locations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
