Supply Chain Associate Manager – Staffing COE

Overview:
Location Free Role - Prefer candidate that resides in the southwest region.

This person will support the Manufacturing Plants, Warehouses, and Service Operations (SOPS) locations in the Southwest Region with staffing needs to become “Staffed, Stable and Capable”. The role will serve as a direct link to the field regarding headcount and staffing which will include headcount tracking, analysis, and retention improvements. The position will fall underneath the Staffing Center of Excellence team.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide hiring and retention tactics to meet staffing Employer of Choice (EOC), turnover, OT and FTU targets for assigned locations in the Southwest region.
  • Work with field contacts to develop the desired End-To-End Employee Experience focusing on our COE workstreams of “Staffed, Stable, Capable”.
  • Primary point of contact for assigned Region’s MFG, WH & SOPS locations to escalate staffing needs or emergency staffing coverage.
  • Consistent communications for field support, including site visits to support Staffing Points and partnering with Region Performance Managers and FL-Select HR team to reach Staffing KPIs/goals.
  • Support Regional and Site Staffing venues. (i.e. Deep Dives, Site Staffing meetings, Vertical Team calls/meetings)
  • Help the sites optimize work schedules be leveraging the Predictive Staffing Model.
  • Support the implementation of WAVE conversations and the deployment of No Forced Overtime for assigned locations in the Southwest region.
  • Communicate updates / answer questions and ensure EOC changes are updated on One Stop Shop for designated region.
  • Manage staffing algorithm process to help the field effectively determine staffing headcount requirements.
  • Facilitate / Collaborate National Staffing Calls with Staffing Points, HRBP’s and Senior Leadership.
  • Manage third-party labor (3PL) relationships to support field staffing gaps and expedite staffing efforts (Pontoon, A1QLS, Launch).
  • Support field headcount tracking to include reporting, insights, and analysis.
  • Support the field locations in minimizing Temporary EE utilization for assigned locations.
  • Participate on staffing cadence.
  • % Travel: 20%-30%

Compensation and Benefits

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $85,200 - $142,650 based on a full-time schedule.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • In depth knowledge of manufacturing operations
  • Proven collaborative, leadership, and influencing capabilities.
  • Practical knowledge of Office suite of tools
  • Strong organizational and analytical ability
  • Self-starter with attention to detail; Ability to identify business issues and generate solutions.
  • Ability to interact with diverse organizations at all levels, including Senior Executives
  • Solid verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Strong change management and project management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management or Business
  • Field operations leadership with 3+ years’ experience
  • Strong project management skills
  • In depth knowledge of field staffing processes and tools
