Responsibilities:
· Design parts, assemblies, systems, and machines in Solidworks 3D
· Create/modify machine/system layouts in AutoCAD
· Conduct shop floor testing and analyze results to check system readiness
· Work closely with management, the sales/marketing dept., and other engineers to develop new products entirely from the idea stage to installation stage of a project.
· Support the manufacturing team
· Support the assembly personnel
· Support the installation/service team
· Participate in conceptual design/review
· Oversee project from design start to final installation
· Create and read prints/ layouts
· Create manual/ training material for each project
· Assist sales in quoting
· Assess customer facilities and overcome challenged presented
· Assess and reduce risk through design
· Document bill of materials list
· Update existing designs as modified
· Assess finished product and determine if it is ready for customer
· Document job completion
· Others assigned by manager as necessary
Requirements:
· Knowledge and extensive understanding of manufacturing processes
· Familiarity with common mechanisms such as pneumatic, servo motion, etc.
· 3D software knowledge; Solidworks preferred
· ERP/MRP system knowledge preferred
· Project management skills

· Travel is required on an as needed basis, including the ability to perform or direct hands-on field work.
Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree required, Engineering preferred
· Minimum 10 years of related professional work experience
