JOB SUMMARY
- This position supports the Director of Operations at the Air National Guard Air Force Reserve Test Center (AATC). The SARM will perform and manage aviation and parachutist Host Aviation Resource Management (HARM) and Squadron Aviation Resource Management (SARM) functions related to scheduling, standardization, and evaluation, flying and ground training, aviation flight records, parachutist jump records, squadron operations, operate and maintain the Aviation Resource Management System (ARMS).
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to interpret public law, plan, organize, and direct aircrew and parachutist resource activities.
- Reviews aviation mission accomplishment reports for accuracy.
- Initiates actions to support aviation management policies and procedures and conducts aircrew and parachutist debriefs.
- Coordinate daily with Host Airfield Management Section.
- Prepares and processes aeronautical and military pay orders and flight authorizations.
- Performs aviation and parachutist resource management functions.
- Adapts or develops new work procedures and instructions for application by self and others.
- Monitors flight physicals, physiological training, aircrew qualifications, and other aircrew and parachutist-related programs.
- Maintains control and accountability for ARMS data.
- Controls security access to ARMS data interfaces and advises on matters pertaining to ARMS requirements and modifications.
- Inspects and evaluates production and maintenance of aviation flight and parachutist jump records, files, and reports.
- Evaluates completed work and group performance.
- Ensures functional directives are accurate and complete.
- Reviews aviation resource management procedures and recommends changes.
- Reviews trend analysis.
- Assist SARM NCOIC with additional duties, such as EFB support, G-TIMS, Airfield driving program, aircrew personal equipment order and repairs, and as required by NCOIC.
- Provides technical assistance to current and potential users of systems to minimize ARMS disruptions.
- The SARM will submit MSR’s (Monthly Status Reports) to GMRE headquarters by the 5th day of every month. The MSR will include employee’s name, supported MDS, a maximum of 5 bullet points for significant events for the month, travel for the past month and any significant events and activities for the next 60 days.
- The SARM Specialist will support the AATC Commander as needed on various ancillary projects.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma and some training from a technical trade school or military technical school with 3 years of SARM experience.
- Must possess a 1C0X2 AFSC.
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS
- You are required to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Driving or renting a car for company business is expected with some frequency. For insurance purposes, a valid driver’s license is required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- The work is generally sedentary, there will be some recurring periods of maintaining equipment which may require employee to lift computer equipment, stand, walk, stretch, bend, reach, and stoop for short periods of time, requiring only moderate physical ability and physical stress.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
TRAVEL REQUIRED
- This position may require travel up to 50% of the time from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS locations and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time to fulfill contract requirements.
