Senior Manager, Global Procurement - Travel

We are seeking a Sr. Manager for Global Procurement’s Travel category who will report the Director, Global Procurement of the Credit Card, Fleet, Meetings & Events, and Travel categories. This leader is responsible for strategic oversight of the global meetings & events needs for Regeneron and lead the end-to-end meetings integration and build/enhance partner and vendor alignment A typical day might include the following:
Optimizing the focus that improves the traveler experience
First level response to traveler and vendor partners
Leading and working with others to solve issues of diverse scope in the travel category and provide analysis considering current business travel trends
Benchmarking, reviewing, tracking, our guidelines and policies
As the Travel Category subject matter expert, partner to develop and draft strategies, assist with negotiations and analyze request for proposals, help define SLA’s and KPI’s, and conduct supplier reviews that support service delivery and process improvements This role might be for you if:
You can build and lead consensus for the Travel Category through teamwork, creativity with a collaborative team and limited supervision
Can define, develop, and deploy partner needs; establish department goals/business plans that drive key initiatives for the travel Category, outline, enhance, and deploy policy and scorecards
Develop, oversee, and track delivery of transient, commercial, HCP, ambassador, non-employee, and candidate travel ensuring that policy and traveler related inquiries, needs and follow-ups are met
To be considered, you must possess a bachelor’s degree and 8+ years and/or previous leadership experience. This role requires solid understanding in the travel category and provide leadership and knowledge with the airline, hotel, ground transportation, travel management company, and online booking tools. We are looking for a leader with cost modeling knowledge and an ability to formulate high level presentations. This role requires being in the office a minimum of 3 days per week.

The salary ranges provided are shown in accordance with U.S. law and apply to U.S. based positions, where the hired candidate will be located in the U.S. If you are outside the U.S, please speak with your recruiter about salaries and benefits in your location.
Salary Range (annually) $129,800.00 - $211,800.00
