We are looking for a Manager Global Procurement-Clinical who will be responsible to support and assist in the development and implementation of the Category Management strategy by gathering and anticipating business unit supply needs and specifications for projects. Must demonstrate capability to proactively manage a supply base and increase value, minimize risk, and ensure quality & cost effectiveness by working collaboratively with business unit. A typical day might include:
Accountable for supporting the definition and implementation of the Global Clinical Category strategies to serve global and regional business needs as assigned.
Works closely with partners to manage discussions related to categories and aligns category priorities with Procurement management and partners.
Uses analytical and negotiation skills to drive cost competitiveness. Enables decision making by providing financial insights and recommendations
Takes direction to drive value in terms of cost savings, cash flow improvement, and other efficiency savings from study management activities.
Supports Global Procurement by participating in organizational decisions in the Global Clinical categories with critical short and long-term impact on the success, efficiency, growth, and results of the study team.
Demonstrates knowledge of efficient global procurement organizations and processes within the biopharmaceutical industry to support the growth and evolution of the Global Procurement organization and leverages this knowledge to drive improvements within Regeneron, aligned with corporate priorities.
Manages category study activities to ensure compliance with appropriate GxPs and other applicable regulations, as applicable.
Negotiates contract terms and conditions in consultation with Law department aligned with Regeneron’s priorities and business requirements, as needed.
May either directly or through a matrix structure, manages teams of professional level employees responsible for performing category management tasks (if applicable.)
Uses data to drive decision-making for successful category study projects. This role may be for you if you have:
Experience successfully managing category processes, and suppliers across a breadth of categories
Built relationships with partners and suppliers optimizing results for Regeneron.
Demonstrated success working effectively with cross-functional teams to get results in Global Clinical categories through effective sourcing, negotiations, contracting, and supplier relationship management.
Provided insight and knowledge regarding rates, unit costs, and costing structures to enable optimal negotiations.
Used external data sources, market information, and supplier engagement to constantly improve Regeneron’s knowledge of supply market dynamics.
Demonstrated success supporting the global supply market evaluation process using all available market intelligence, risk, compliance, and financial assessment tools.
The role requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study plus relevant, progressive experience in procurement, including experience in Pharma/BioPharma. The ideal candidate will also have a solid understanding of sourcing contracting tools, ERP’s, and eRFx systems preferred. (Oracle, Zycus, GEP, Ariba, Other). This role requires being on site a minimum of 3 days per week.

The salary ranges provided are shown in accordance with U.S. law and apply to U.S. based positions, where the hired candidate will be located in the U.S. If you are outside the U.S, please speak with your recruiter about salaries and benefits in your location.
Salary Range (annually) $110,900.00 - $181,100.00
