Job Summary
Prepares, researches, and analyzes financial and utilization information to support the department.
Essential Functions
Performs statistical, cost, and financial variance analysis of data to evaluate financial performance and identify improvement opportunities.
Provides guidance on business issues including financial and profitability analysis. Develops solutions to problems of unusual complexity, which require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation.
Serves as a consultant to assigned areas of the organization to support the financial goals and objectives of Corewell Health.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's Degree Accounting, finance, business administration, economics, statistics or related field
3 years of relevant experience Finance, accounting or related work
Preferred:
Master's Degree Business or finance
Formal or informal leadership experience
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - State of Michigan
