Machine Shop Inspector

Established in 1972, Charles Meisner, Inc., is a family owned job shop, AS9100 registered, and dedicated to serving the commercial, aerospace and military environments.

We are looking for an AS9100 experienced Inspector with the ability to fill in AS9102 FAI forms, inspect machined parts and assemblies at assembly, inspection or machining locations to ensure conformance to product specifications. Employee must be able to read blueprints or engineering specifications to obtain product information, such as specified material, outside processes, surface finish, and dimensions to ensure product meets specifications and reports findings to the Quality Manager as required. Employee must have pride in their work and be able to communicate effectively both written and spoken in English. Employee must be a motivated and enthusiastic team player. Inspector must be flexible and be able move between numerous different activities throughout the course of the day. ( example ) filling in AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports, First Article inspection, final inspection, monitoring of travelers for accuracy, filling out rejection reports, corrective actions, and other AS9100 related paperwork.

This is a fast paced job shop and employee must be able to handle multiple projects while maintaining careful attention to detail.

Having Microsoft Excel experience is required.

Regular Hours: 6:00AM - 4:30PM

Regular Work Days: Monday - Thursday
