Employment Information

Charles Meisner, Inc.is a fast paced AS9100/ISO9001 manufacturer of Aerospace, Military, and Commercial details and assemblies. We are in search of an experienced Quality System Manager.

Employee would be required to perform the following tasks:

Ensure Quality Management System complies with all recognized standards and customer requirements.

Maintains the QMS document and records control program.

Participates in continuous improvement of quality management system.

Plans, organizes and directs quality program to meet company objectives.

Establishes and maintains internal quality audit program to ensure audits are completed on time and implement any corrective actions as required.

Establish, implement, maintain, and upgrade of processes, procedures, forms, reports and quality metrics.

Development and implementation of Quality Procedures necessary to insure product quality.

Acts as Management Representative for to ISO 9001/AS9100 certification.

Acts as a key contact for resolving customer and supplier quality issues.

Work with source inspectors demonstrating product acceptance.

Review contractual quality requirements and assure compliance via plan implementation.
Oversees key quality projects, quality performance reports, data and analysis.

Creates and monitors both internal and external (supplier) non-conformance reports, including corrective and preventive actions.

Weekly MRB maintenance, including root-cause analysis, corrective, and preventative action.

Organizes and leads Management Review meetings.

Monitors and reports on the performance of the key quality metrics defined by management.

Prepares and handles all Customer RMA’s.

Prepares quality planning for new and repeat orders, including all customer requirements, risk analysis, inspection method, sampling plan.

Assists in preparation and review of completed First Article Inspection Reports.

Supervise a small team of inspection personnel.

Perform other duties as required by Management.

Employee requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience serving in a quality assurance role.

Understanding in all phases of metrology, inspection, and test methods.

Complete understanding of all machine shop inspection equipment.

Highly proficient level regarding blueprint reading, GD&T (Geometric Dimension and Tolerance) and high precision tolerance.

Working knowledge of QA methodologies, SPC, Process Mapping, Root Cause and Corrective Action and Control Plans, etc.

Prior Experience working with AS9100 quality management systems with an in-depth understanding of AS9100, Rev. D – Aerospace Standard for Quality Management Systems

Competent on all Microsoft office applications, including Word, Excel

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.

To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, or lawful permanent resident of the U.S. as defined by ITAR (22 CFR §120.15)

Position: Day shift

Hours: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Days: Monday thru Thursday
