The Professional Group is seeking for a Powerplant Aircraft Mechanic for a great new project with our client LATAM Airlines, Located in Miami Airport.
Duties:
· Perform such typical maintenance operations as the removal and replacement of powerplant components that require bolting, torqueing, adjusting, rigging and safety wiring to include powerplant removal/installation.
· Read and utilize maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogs, service bulletins and other maintenance documents to troubleshoot and complete work assignments.
· Promote safety within the workplace by monitoring others and yourself to guarantee all tasks are performed within the safety manual guidelines.
·Communicate with other mechanics and supervisors to coordinate maintenance and repairs.
· Complete all required records of the inspections, repairs, and maintenance procedures performed.
· Perform work within estimated hours.
· Use and operate ground support equipment and special tooling, as applicable, in a safe manner.
· Work with leads and supervisors to accomplish assignments with little or no rework.
Qualifications:
· Powerplant License
· Experience with Turbojet/Turbofan aircraft engines.
· Experience with QEC Removal and Installation.
· Experience with CF6-80 engines preferred.
