Join our team at Community Alternatives, Inc. as an HR Business Partner (HRBP), where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our workforce and ensuring our teams thrive. As an HRBP, you'll provide strategic human resources consultation and support to a designated business unit, utilizing your expertise to drive recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations initiatives.
Compensation: This is a non-exempt position offering a competitive rate of $22-$25/hr.
Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment Management:** Lead the recruitment efforts for the designated business unit, analyzing recruitment strategies and making recommendations for improvement to meet workforce needs effectively.
2. New Hire Orientation: Participate in new hire orientation sessions, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and promptly. You'll oversee the onboarding process, facilitating a seamless transition for new team members.
3. Compliance Management: Handle accreditation requirements by submitting fingerprints and CPS forms. Enter I-9s into the E-Verify system to maintain compliance with government regulations.
4. Employee File Maintenance: Take charge of maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee files, ensuring all necessary paperwork for terminated employees is processed efficiently.
5. Event Participation: Represent the organization at off-site job fairs and similar events as needed, contributing to our recruitment efforts and promoting our employer brand.
6. Data Analysis: Effectively track and monitor large volumes of data, compiling and analyzing insights to drive informed decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in or three (3) years of experience in HR field (Bachelor's preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of office experience.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- 1 year of customer service experience.
- Previous HR experience desired, particularly in recruiting, onboarding, workers' compensation, and FMLA tracking.
- Ability to perform essential functions with reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities.
