The Role:
As the HR Coordinator at MAC, you will serve as an ambassador for our employees, being the first point of contact for their inquiries. You will play a pivotal role in supporting various functions within the HR department, including recruitment, onboarding, employee communications, and administration. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our HR functions and help create a supportive work environment where everyone can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Effective Communication: Communicate with diplomacy, flexibility, and professionalism, whether in person, over the phone, or via email.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Provide outstanding customer service and hospitality to all employees and members.
  • Organizational Proficiency: Demonstrate strong organizational skills, including prioritization and problem-solving abilities.
  • Confidential Record Keeping: Maintain complex and confidential employee records with precision.
  • Data Management and Reporting: Input data and generate reports using HRIS (Dayforce) and other software.
  • Recruitment Support: Support recruitment efforts by arranging interviews, collecting required documents, and assisting with orientations.
  • Prompt Inquiry Response: Respond promptly to inquiries within your area of responsibility.
  • Special Projects Coordination: Gather data for special projects or reports as needed.
  • Administrative Duties: Update information and reports using computer software. Manage department phones and the HR Inbox email efficiently. Handle heavy file management, record-keeping, and data entry tasks accurately.
  • Event Coordination: Coordinate special programs and events as requested.
What You’ll Bring:
  • Administration Experience: Minimum of 2 years of administration experience, preferably in HR.
  • HR Knowledge: Basic knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws highly preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Confidentiality Awareness: Capability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Solution-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail Orientation: Detail-oriented approach with efficient multitasking skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HRIS systems (Dayforce preferred).
  • Time Management: Excellent organization, time management, and adaptability to shifting priorities.
  • Collaboration Skills: Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with departments like Finance.
  • Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field highly preferred.
  • Work Arrangement: Must be available to work on-site, full-time. This is not a remote or hybrid position.
