Integrated Components & Solutions (ICS) division is seeking a motivated individual to fill a Financial Analyst position in the greater Peoria, IL area supporting both the Cost and Financial areas of the business. You will partner with engineering and product development colleagues to provide cost analysis for New Product Introduction (NPI) programs. You will prepare monthly financial reporting for the ICS Aftermarket business. This will entail tracking of several components groups and will lend insight into the Aftermarket tracking and reporting of projects and benefits.

What You Will Do:

  • Respond to general business inquires & provide monthly results reviews and presentations.
  • Create and maintain cash flows to support New Product Introduction programs for OEM Solutions and Caterpillar Electronics.
  • NPI support including future cost, should cost and alternative analyses.
  • Creating reports on financial performance and providing insightful analysis for internal and external use.
  • Support Product Cost analysis for the OEM Solutions business.
  • Give insight into the component Aftermarket business with project tracking and monthly financial reporting.
  • Upon request, take part in special projects and ad hoc reporting requests.
  • Maintain, implement, and adhere to internal controls while ensuring that accounting procedures comply with GAAP.

What You Have:

  • Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail : Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
  • Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis such as Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), etc; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
  • Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
  • Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Accounting: Knowledge of accounting methods, processes, and tools; ability to maintain and prepare financial statements and reports using accounting methods and processes.
  • Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis such as Discounted Cash Flows (DCF), etc; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

  • Familiarity with tools such as SAP and Power BI

Additional Info :

  • This position is located in our Mossville, IL office
  • This role is a full time, Hybrid position and currently requires 3 days a week in office
  • Domestic relocation assistance is available for those who qualify
