As the Human Resources Assistant - Employee Benefits, you will play a pivotal role in individuals' lives, making a significant impact through:
- Educate employees about benefits programs (group health, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, supplemental plans, flexible spending accounts, retirement plans, etc.) to encourage enrollment and plan use.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of pension-related communications, including plan documents, benefit statements, and annual reports.
- Provide administrative support for Leave of Absence administration by serving as the initial contact for employee absences, leave request and workers compensation claims.
- Verifies absences with employees as necessary and sends related correspondence to remain compliant with state and federal laws
- Provide assistance to the Human Resources team to manage filing and special projects as requested by the Director of Human Resources.
- Other duties as assigned.

Human Resources Assistant - Employee Benefits Maximum Salary: $22.00 / Per Hour
Human Resources Assistant - Employee Benefits Schedule: Full Time, 35 hours per week
Qualifications:
- 2 year/ Associate Degree, required List field of study: Human Resources or related field
- 1-3 years required – Human Resources/Onboarding
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint) knowledge is preferred.
- Experience with ADP, preferred
