Foxterra is a Residential Landscape Design Firm based in Irvine, California. We design luxury, private resorts for homeowners around the world and we are looking for an entry level Designer to join our Team. SUMMARY OF POSITION:

As an Entry Level Draftsmen at Foxterra Design your responsibility is to assist the team in the development of project drawings and site plans in AutoCAD as well as models in Structure Studios. We are looking for a team player that is also able to demonstrate strong independent skills. You will collaborate in a Team environment via Slack and Zoom as well as in our home office in Costa Mesa. You will work on beautiful high-end landscape residential projects where you must demonstrate good technical skills, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Landscape Architecture, or a related field, from an accredited university. Proficiency in AutoCAD is required and bonus points if knowledgeable in any or all of the following: Adobe Suite, Rhino, Lumion, Sketchup, and Structure Studios.

• Local to Costa Mesa
• Strong communication and listening skills
• AutoCAD proficiency
• Graphics proficiency is a plus (3D modeling, Structure Studios, BIM Software, Rhino, Sketchup, Lumion)
• Design process familiarity
• Adobe Creative Suite proficiency is a plus
• Bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture, or a related field, from an accredited university

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Under the supervision of the project coordinator and project manager, provide support on drafting needs in AutoCAD in a timely matter.
• Complete project plans, site plans, details, and other computer-generated needs as required by the project
• Assist in the coordination of projects with other disciplines with the project coordinator and project manager as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
