Associate Landscape Designer - Foxterra Design

We are a luxury landscape design firm that is expanding our design team. Your role will be to reimagine outdoor spaces for our clients to take them "from residence to resort" (our brand's tagline).

As a Designer at Foxterra your primary responsibility will be to work with our clients directly in creating stunning landscapes. You will be responsible for meeting with clients mostly via zoom, listening to their needs and asking key questions to help best understand the best approach to take the design. Your depth of knowledge of what a construction budget range can allow for is key to keeping clients' expectations realistic. You need to have a strong understanding of construction practices to give the best input and ideas in your design presentation. You will be working closely with our production team to articulate all the ideas represented in the design so that proper plans can be created for construction.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilizing Structure Studios to build landscape design and complete revisions.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director and Director of Design to ensure the Foxterra look is implemented properly in each design.
  • Work closely with our Project Coordinators for communication within our system.
  • Participate in site analysis activities, which may include site visits for review of onsite details and feedback to construction companies, client suggestions, etc.
  • Manage the progress of project via our CRM with accurate and up to date information.
  • Develop an understanding of what the Foxterra aesthetic is and how to create it in our designs.
  • Value design projects where clients' budgets are changed; so that you can offer creative solutions to keep luxury look within budget given

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years minimum experience in Landscape Design
  • 2-3 years' experience with Structure Studios
  • A keen eye for design, creativity and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of plant materials and landscape construction principles.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A strong passion for landscape design and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
  • Knowledge of plant material, hardscape material and landscape construction principles.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
