Keystone Turbine Services, a division of Precision Aviation Group, is a leader in the MRO (maintenance, repair, overhaul) industry for general aviation aircraft. Our facility is located in Coatesville, PA and has an opening in our Accessory Department. This is a great opportunity for an individual with strong mechanical aptitude and experience to get into the aviation industry.
The Accessory Technician will use knowledge, skills, experience, and good judgement to produce a reliable, quality, airworthy product at a reasonable cost and optimum turn time while providing the highest quality of workmanship for all work accomplished. Previous aviation experience is valued, but not required.
Essential Functions include:
- Use electronic test equipment, hand and soldering tools and other measuring and recording devices to troubleshoot and repair electronic circuits to component level.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics and technical orders.
- Analyze malfunctions using electronic test equipment, schematics and technical publications.
- Build test equipment utilizing approved design data and/or manufacturers drawings.
- Complete all required paperwork related to repairs performed.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area daily.
Ideal candidates will offer:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in electronic repairs or similar experience.
- Hands on experience with electronic test equipment, hand and soldering tools and other measuring and recording devices.
- Ability to remain focused and pay close attention to detail and retain information.
- Ability to read and comprehend work instructions in spoken and written English.
- This is a bench technician position. Physical requirements include long periods of sitting in an indoor climate-controlled environment, working with small hand tools, performing repairs on small component parts.
