Integrated Distribution Services, Inc (IDS) is a third party distribution company with facilities in Plainfield, IN, Indianapolis, IN and Salt Lake City, UT. For over fifty years, IDS has delivered a comprehensive mix of supply chain logistics services that includes warehousing, distribution, order fulfillment and transportation services to customers in diverse industries. IDS Fulfillment specializes in order fulfillment for e-commerce, direct sales, retail and start-up companies serving a wide variety of industries as well as excelling in local public and contract warehousing.
IDS is seeking an experienced and highly self motivated person for our Warehouse Technology Manager position located at our Plainfield, IN facility.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Warehouse Technology Manager is tasked with overseeing the complete lifecycle of our warehouse technology systems. This includes the management and integration of various technological elements such as systems, data flows, dashboards, screens, robots, automation, tooling, reports, handheld devices, and computers.
This role ensures that our technology infrastructure meets the operational needs of our warehouse and aligns with customer requirements. The Warehouse Technology Manager will lead efforts to analyze and resolve operational inefficiencies, optimizing processes and systems through strategic solutions.
As a key member of the IT leadership team, this position will drive technological improvements that enhance daily warehouse functions. The role requires active collaboration with customers, vendors, and internal team members. This role reports directly to the VP of Technology.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Designing, building, testing, and deploying the technical components required for successful solutions across WMS, ERP, TMS, and other critical systems while facilitating efficient data flow and system interoperability.
- Conduct regular audits of the WMS data and process to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards and procedures.
- Develop and support optimal distribution center systems to eliminate manual efforts.
- Research potential new warehouse management technology that would help the company succeed.
- Integrate new technologies that increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage routine system maintenance, software updates, and troubleshooting to address performance issues and minimize operational disruptions.
- Report and monitor distribution center systems usage and productivity, identifying issues, and trends by providing metrics accordingly.
- Communicate with multiple levels within the organization – from brainstorming with individuals to discussing actionable strategy with the executive leadership team.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education and/or experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain, Engineering or a related field
- Strong technical understanding of distribution centers and IT systems
- Knowledge of Locus robots and ProShip preferred.
- 3-5 years relevant work management experience
- Experience implementing warehouse management systems preferred.
- Experience with technology integrating with warehouse management systems preferred.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
