Labatt Food Service is looking to fill a position in their Houston distribution center for a Safety Manager.

This position will be responsible for the following:

• Conduct weekly warehouse safety meetings
• Conduct new employee orientation for operations and transportation employees
• Conduct DOT orientation for newly hired Class A CDL drivers
• Maintain driver qualification files
• Investigate and report all accidents
• Maintain accident reports and work with insurance companies on all vehicle accidents
• Oversee the work injury program
• Organize and conduct quarterly safety meetings
• Inspect and maintain all safety equipment
• Works to ensure that the company stays in compliance with all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• Attend training programs available to further knowledge of federal safety programs
• Purchase safety equipment as needed
• Manage Access Control department and security procedures
• Complete any other special assignments or tasks as directed by management

Bachelor’s Degree required. Prefer 3-5+ years of experience within operations and transportation safety programs.
