Employment Information

Main responsibilities:

  • Create and finalize all paperwork and reports associated with QA Holds, Recall, CAPA’s, Returned Goods and Expired product reviews and approval.
  • Operate material handling equipment required for placement, placarding and movement of product.
  • Maintain accurate reports for the business unit and internal management.
  • Answer questions and report information regarding Quarantine, Hold, Expired, Return Goods and Recalled product
  • Provide direction and coordination to warehouse team relative to specific quality focus areas.
  • Support the re-work of product as authorized by the business unit.
  • Actively participate in quality programs and quality project teams.
  • Responsible for making recommendations regarding continuous improvement of department work processes and operating procedures.
  • Assist Quality manager in preparing procedures, work instructions, hazardous material shipping papers, reference guides.

Quarantine Management:

  • Prepare any reports concerning Quarantine, Holds, Expired product, Return Goods, and Recall of product activities as required.
  • Must ensure that all quality assurance(QA) holds are properly recorded,
  • Ensure product placed in a secure area and detailed information is provided on a timely basis for disposition.
  • Must meet the response time established by the customer and be in compliance with corporate and regulatory policy.
  • Ensure that lot reconciliation and internal records for product retrieval are properly documented and recorded.
  • Report product damage to account representatives and obtain authorization for disposition.
  • Coordinate the disposal of non-conforming product by scrapping (landfill and/ or hazardous distressed product management) or donation orders.
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without accommodation.

Required skills.

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach and Lift up to 25lbs.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions in a manner consistent with the essential job functions.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willing to use PIV’s (pallet jack and High Reach)

EDUCATION and or/ EXPERIENCE:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of warehouse and Quality experience
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft based programs including excel, word, outlook etc.
  • Warehouse Management System (WMS) and SAP experience required.
  • Willing to follow instructions and take direction.
  • Ability to work weekend when needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: Up to $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
