Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Manager who is skilled in operating forklifts, proficient in quality control procedures, and capable of managing warehouse operations efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of inventory management, logistics, and team leadership; along with expertise in maintaining quality standards within a warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and quality control processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Implement efficient workflows to optimize productivity and minimize errors.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment as needed.
Forklift Operation:
- Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure they are in proper working condition.
- Train and supervise warehouse staff on safe forklift operation techniques.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while operating forklifts.
Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and audits.
- Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize shrinkage and loss.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and make informed decisions to optimize inventory levels.
Quality Control:
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure product integrity and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular inspections of incoming and outgoing goods to verify quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor product quality throughout the storage and distribution process, taking corrective action as necessary.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance targets and goals.
- Provide coaching and development opportunities to enhance team members' skills.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration.
- Address any performance or conduct issues promptly and professionally.
Safety and Compliance:
- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Investigate and report any accidents or incidents in the warehouse.
- Implement corrective actions to prevent future safety hazards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a warehouse manager or supervisor, with at least [X years] of experience in a similar role.
- Valid forklift operator certification and demonstrated proficiency in operating various types of forklifts.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control principles.
- Experience in implementing and maintaining quality control procedures within a warehouse environment.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members at all levels.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
