Warehouse Manager Job Description

A Warehouse Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing operations at our production facility. They ensure that all incoming and outgoing inventory is processed efficiently and according to schedule. Responsibilities
As a Warehouse Manager, your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Inventory Management:
- Audit and report inventory levels.
- Make recommendations on which items to order and restock.
- Manage incoming ingredients to ensure FIFO on all dry, refrigerated, and frozen ingredients.
- Become the champion of the warehouse.
- Pull all ingredients and packaging for production departments.
- Restock any unused inventory returned by production.
- Process Optimization:
- Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve efficient storage and shipment processes.
- Set warehouse goals in collaboration with executive management and other team leads.
- Performance Monitoring and Training:
- Monitor workplace performance and internal shelf life
- Lead training initiatives to improve employee skills.
- Safety Compliance:
- Keep up-to-date on the latest federal and state safety regulations.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards within the warehouse.
- To include safe us of electrical and manual pallet jack systems
- Proper PPE to work on Freezer temperature areas.
- Cross-Departmental Communication:
- Communicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner.
Qualifications

- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse management or a related field.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and planning abilities.
- Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
