POSITION SUMMARY
Cleburne Texas Warehouse Manager:
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for operating an efficient, productive, and safe warehouse, while meeting or exceeding daily production requirements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include but are not limited to:

Manger Duties:

  • Ensure quality and service are at a consistently high level.

  • Utilizes ERP and warehouse management systems to ensure consistent and efficient receiving, shipping, and distribution across the company.
  • Customer Service first mindset and the ability to coach and train this to the entire team.
  • Effectively communicate with team members, peers, and managers to provide for a more efficient operation.
  • Ensure constant improvement by reviewing processes, workflows, methods
  • Works with the team to develop changes based on recommendations.
  • Ensures that the warehouse meets all requirements for Safety and Housekeeping.
  • Daily work schedule involves performing a combination of the following duties; o Receiving o Loading o Shipping o Unloading Trucks o Stocking o Picking and palletizing products
  • Work to achieve the weekly Installation Schedule with delivery and distribution of products to achieve distribution objectives and meet inter-company and customer requirements.
  • All incoming material is properly documented and cataloged into the project files.
  • Certify that all stored material is organized and clearly identified.
  • Ensure maintenance of equipment, in compliance with city, state, and federal laws to ensure a safe, clean environment with the ability to enforce all company work and safety rules. This includes;

POSITION DESCRIPTION o Warehouse, Company Vehicles, Inventory

  • Work closely with Branch Manager, Purchasing Manager, Project Managers, and Plant Managers to maintain strong inventory control.
  • Coordinates work with Little Rock Manager, and other supervisors concerning incoming shipments, job site deliveries, intercompany transfers, and well as LTL and parcel shipments.
  • Effective at building and maintaining positive and professional relationships with counterparts, peers, and management across the organization.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
These knowledge, skills and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through the completion of High
School and/or the completion of a General Education Diploma (G.E.D.).

  • 2 – 3 plus years’ experience in warehouse / distribution center management.
  • Previous work experience in a warehouse or distributions center including material handling, inventory tracking, and providing work direction to team members.

Additional Requirements: Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as directed.

  • Strong math and PC skills.
  • Communication, coaching and development skills.
  • Forklift certified.
  • Bi-Lingual skills preferred, but not required.
  • Knowledge of occupational hazards and standard safety practices.
  • Knowledge of basic hand and power tools operation.
  • Knowledge of the operation of a variety of construction/maintenance equipment in the light to heavy category.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to operate various types of vehicles and equipment (i.e., forklift, box truck, etc.)
  • Ability to understand and read blueprints.
  • Ability to read and use a tape measure.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

  • May be required to stand for long periods of time
  • May involve some repetitive motions
  • May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers
  • May frequently lift or carry 10-35 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
This position is required to work in manufacturing / warehouse environment facility.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for supervising a staff of 4 to 5 warehouse and delivery personnel.
