Warehouse Inventory Manager

Blackbox LLC is looking for an Inventory Manager in our fast growing and evolving company. We are a manufacturing, distribution, publishing, and logistics company with strong roots in importing and sourcing board games, card games, puzzles, and promotional merchandise from national brands to owned brands across hundreds of small and major retailers.

You will manage a team and be able to execute on all inbound, outbound, pull & put inventory activities. Accuracy, timeliness and process enhancement with corresponding standard operating procedure documentation will be measures of success in this role.

Focus:

  • Manage an inventory specialist team across inbound, outbound, pulls & put-aways
  • Create and/or optimize inventory control procedures by evaluating product touches and movement
  • Develop standard operating procedures and best practices for the team to follow
  • Address operational issues/concerns
  • Ensure daily inbounds and outbounds are recorded accurately and timely
  • Ensure daily pulls and put-aways are recorded accurately and timely
  • Reconcile and resolve inventory discrepancies with cross functional teams including accounting, sales, item, and warehouse
  • Make inventory updates in Salesforce, manage inventory audit alerts, coordinate cycle counts, perform root cause analysis
  • Work with Item Manager on creating new items, maintaining existing items, and developing process on item integrity
  • Track warehouse utilization %
  • Evaluate warehouse team member performance against safety behaviors, productivity, and adherence to standard operating procedures
  • Ensure consistency with Labeling and Marking stock
  • Ability to assist in loading and wrapping stock on pallets, loading and unloading delivery vehicles, pulling & putting inventory
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe work environment
  • Follow all safety rules at all times and report any unsafe conditions to management immediately
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Professional qualifications:

  • Forklift certification or ability to pass Forklift certification
  • 2+ years of experience with inventory management
  • Proficiency in Excel and inventory management software
  • Bachelor’s degree

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $73,000.00 per year
