Summary/Objective: The Vendor Relations Manager's primary objectives are to manage the relationship and contractual agreements of third parties which provide vital services to the online consumer lending business. The Vendor Relations Manager will play a significant role in the vendor onboarding process, initial and ongoing due diligence, and contract review.

Requirements of the Job Include: Specific duties include, but are not limited, to the following:

  • Partner with internal executives, legal, and compliance departments during vendor selection and due diligence onboarding to identify, evaluate and control all operational, financial, legal, regulatory, and reputational risks.
  • Manage the contractual agreement process to consolidate changes to drafts and promptly flow to the appropriate areas for approval. Manage the ongoing contractual needs for updates and change addendums through the change control process. Manage the ongoing contract renewal/revision process on an annual basis.
  • Create, maintain, and manage vendor relationships by holding routine (weekly, monthly, quarterly) meetings and business reviews through conference calls and regular site meetings.
  • Collaborate with the compliance department to ensure all vendors comply with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with Service Providers to determine TLE’s needs and actively research and seek vendors to suit business demands.
  • Maintain productive and cordial relationships with TLRA to ensure licensing and tribal regulations are followed and updated.
  • Create, maintain, and manage all Vendor Relations policies and procedures.
  • Maintain an effective working relationship with vendors and Service Provider partners.
  • Ensure agreements protect the integrity of Tribal Sovereignty and are compliant by having open communications with our legal team.
  • Cancel contracts with vendors that are no longer needed.
  • Create, maintain, and manage all vendor documentation.
  • Develop and implement quality improvements and process changes to achieve efficiency and positive workflow between internal business and external partners.
  • Assess employee performance, complete reviews, provide training and coaching for direct reports.
  • Organize and delegate assignments to team members.
  • Monitor vendor services by following company guidelines and due diligence processes and ensuring vendors meet the standard of contractual agreements.
