Human Resources Manager, Retail
You'll be a trusted member of our HR team reporting supporting the Americas region, reporting to the Director, HR Business Partner – Americas. You'll collaborate and liaise within the brand HR team, business leadership and VF HR (Talent Acquisition, Talent Development and People Services). As the primary contact for the VF Enterprise Function leaders at the brand level, you will be an active participant within their respective leadership teams to support execution of the people strategy, including talent development, performance management, employee engagement and program development in support of business objectives and both VF and Vans Brand Purpose.

How You Will Make a Difference
What you will do:
Support the Americas region, with a specific focus on Enterprise Functions, aligning fundamental HR processes across the region and brand
Define and implement all aspects of HR strategies and drive HR initiatives in line with brand objectives
Implement Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Advocacy (IDEA) practices in supports of the brand’s strategies and objectives
Ensure correct rollout of the performance management process, including objectives setting, appraisals and performance-improvement plan application
Implement Brand Purpose and Employee Value Proposition actions and activities tailored the brand to elevate the employee experience.
How you will do it:
By building trust and partnerships with business leaders and associates to understand business needs and issues and develop appropriate people strategies and solutions as needed
Serving as an advisor to business leaders and associates on all HR matters and updates
Lead talent management practices, including talent identification, succession planning, talent development and leadership coaching
Utilize talent analytics to assess talent and identify talent issues to proactively address future business needs
Closely collaborating with our Vans HR team and VF HR (Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, People Services) to deliver HR solutions to assigned functions
Working with People Services on the Advanced Compensation planning process, including review and development of new jobs, to ensure competitive pay for new and active associates
Manage and analyze client group statistics such as survey results, turnover and exit interview feedback to provide recommendations to improve retention and overall employee experience.

Skills for Success
Years of Related Professional Experience: at least 5 years of Human Resources experience with a broad exposure to multiple HR disciplines and/or HR Generalist role
Educational position requirements: A formal education and subsequent undergraduate/graduate degrees are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.

In addition to being a self-starter, highly organized and able to work well with individuals at all levels, as the ideal candidate, you will have a proven ability to build relationships and influence across all levels, working within teams and individually
The ability to think strategically and how practices, programs, policies and services could align across an organization
Innovative thinking and resourcefulness, a creative problem-solving approach to business needs
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Prior experience working within a matrixed organization (preferred)
The ability to travel domestically up to 10 percent of the time.

Hiring Range : $85,536.00 USD - $106,920.00 USD annually
Incentive Potential : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
