The Job

Summary:

• Pick, stage and load outbound trailers
• Unload, receive, and put away inbound material
• Use handheld scanning device to accurately maintain inventory control
• Use a forklift to load and unload your own trailer
• Complete deliveries and pickups by driving trucks to and from customers’ facilities.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping floors, pallet areas, and docks neat.
• Promote safe and efficient work by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Education/Experience Needed: Class A CDL required. Manual/standard transmission endorsement required. Experience in warehousing or trucking preferred. One or more years working with a WMS required. CPR and AED training preferred. Experience with ADP timekeeping system preferred.

What We Offer:

This is a full-time position. Work hours vary, and most employees work 5 days per week. Some shifts are 4 days per week. Weekend work may be required. Most shifts are between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. One shift is 9:00 p.m. to 7 a.m. Employees must be available to work overtime as needed.

The Teamsters Union represents our employees after 45 days of employment. Wages and benefits are determined through collective bargaining. The current wage for this position is $29.45 per hour.

We offer an excellent benefits package. The current contract agreement provides fully paid health insurance and a pension plan funded by the company.
