Falck is a is a global emergency medical services provider originating from Denmark that services 3 states in the US including: California, Oregon, and Colorado. Falck has been operating in the US since 2010 and is the second largest private provider of emergency medical services in the country today. Our BLS and ALS services impact not only the lives of our patients, but their families and communities.


Position Summary:

This position will be responsible for accurately receiving, allocating, and scrutinizing timecards for primarily for Falck field employees (EMTs and Paramedics). The Timekeeper will also support processing of Time Off Requests, and reviewing data entered for quality compliance to ensure correct and accurate payroll. The Timekeeper will work closely with Falck Schedulers and the Payroll department to ensure accuracy of hours worked data are processed for payroll. This position will primarily support Falck’s City of San Diego and Alameda County 911 contracts.

Travel to Alameda or San Diego County may be required from time to time.

Compensation: $22 - $24/ Hr.

Responsibilities:

The Timekeeper must be able to adequately perform essential duties in an organized and efficient manner. These duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

Review employee timecards and compare to schedule – including but not limited to, hours worked, and appropriate coding of hours/shifts

Compile timecard data to validate accuracy before submission of bi-weekly payroll

Enforce timecard policy to ensure timely submission of timecard corrections by employees

Collaborate with Operations and Human Resources to address employee issues related to timecards

Answer telephone calls and emails in a professional manner

Maintain and track time-off requests, unpaid time, and other charge codes where applicable

Monitor

Support payroll in processing makeup, layoff, voluntary termination checks as needed

Assist employees as needed with Payroll questions, etc.

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Strong organizational skills

Ability to multi-task and prioritize

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

Familiarity with ESO timekeeping systems a plus, but not required

High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and produce within tight deadlines

Flexible and adaptable, willing and able to adjust to rapidly changing priorities in a growing company.

Must always maintain a professional demeanor and appearance.

Candidates must be available to travel to other Falck locations as needed
