Using a variety of hand & power tools, fixtures, engineering prints, work instructions and test equipment perform a series of operations to correctly assemble/test production assemblies and devices.
- Exercise initiative/judgement in work requirements.

- Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure/cost of poor quality.
- Understanding of production costs to include waste, downtime, scrap and re-work.
Productivity:
- Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures.
- Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to the Engineering Test Manager.
- Responsible for assisting, setting up and testing medical devices.
- Individual will work under the guidance of the Engineering team to fabricate test fixtures requiring familiarity with mechanical and electrical assemblies.
- Other duties may include fabricating and validating correct operation of test equipment and fixtures for use in a manufacturing environment.
- May test or assist in testing operation of completed product.
Safety:
- Report any unsafe conditions to the Engineering Test Manager.
- Work to correct unsafe conditions upon detection.
- To use safe practices in all aspects of job.
- Follow all company safety regulations.
Quality:
- Comply with policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements per the Harmar Quality System.
- To ensure all applicable quality standards are rigorously applied and adhered to.
- Completes all documentation relating to business or regulatory requirements.
- Inspect, audit and verify the quality of manufactured products.
- Maintain high levels of personal quality while preparing, executing and documenting tests.
- Immediately report any product or system quality deficiencies to the Engineering Test Manager.
Requirements:
- Work positively with support functions to fully define the processes/procedures/controls relevant to team activities.
- Provide support and input to continuous improvement activities within the team.
- Establish a working relationship and communicate with other departments and ensure an effective interface is maintained.
- Feedback to the Management team to share ideas and improve operation, recommending, supporting and implementing continuous improvement activities and process and procedure improvements to optimize results and improve quality of delivery, in line with quality standards requirements and delivery in line with Company and Customer requirements.
- Evaluate returned material for failure and root cause.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to manage and prioritize work tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Work experience in a manufacturing environment beneficial.
- Computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office, Arena).
- Some welding skills preferred.
- Experience with Relay Logic and PLCs beneficial.
Work Environment:
- Non-climate controlled warehouse with some exposure to outside.
- Be able to lift 60-70 pounds.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- STEM skills desired.
- Engineering coursework a plus.
Hours/Pay/Location:
- Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.
- Non-exempt, hourly.
