A new division of an established aerospace company is searching for a motivated MANUFACTURING Supply Chain Manager. This position will oversee all aspects of the supply chain value chain and develop strategic objectives to ensure adequate material availability and optimal inventory levels. This is a strategically focused position with a need for hands-on leadership as well. The Supply Chain Manager will partner with the GM and peers to develop and execute best practices to drive line growth while protecting the overall bottom line.

This is a full-time, exempt position working Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. The role may require occasional extended hours and weekend work to support company objectives. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience with the following:

· Develop and execute supply chain strategy to align with corporate directives through collaboration with sister sites, internal stakeholders, and external partners

· Establish supply chain best practices to leverage efficiencies in expense management, process improvements, people development and site wide collaboration

· Collaborate with external partners to implement long term agreements, vendor managed inventory, and similar mutually beneficial programs to drive improved material delivery and cost optimization

· Develop, analyze and publish weekly and monthly SCM metrics and KPI’s to identify gaps, drive continuous improvement and develop recovery plans as necessary

· Oversee and facilitate the daily activities of supply chain team members in shipping, receiving, purchasing, planning and production control

· Coach and develop team members through mentoring and performance goals

· Ensure ERP data integrity through auditing data inputs, transaction processing, system inaccuracies, and overall data management

· Anticipate impact of changes in demand or supply patterns and proactively take measures to minimize impact on operational performance

· Define continuous improvement opportunities that are influenced through supply chain activities

Establish and lead S&OP process for demand/supply alignment through master scheduling activities, understanding of capacity constraints, inventory management, and alignment with fiscal budget.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Bachelor’s Degree

· Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing supply chain

· Proficient in the entire Microsoft Office Suite

· Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail

· Previous experience with S&OP or forecasting methodologies

· Previous experience with ERP management

· Previous experience with AS9100 compliance requirements or equivalent

· Strategic thinker

· Strong understanding of supply chain management and the value proposition of supply chain

· Basic understanding of financial reports and supply chain impact on financial performance

· Fast thinking, proactive leader, with excellent interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
